Skandy was founded by two sister-in-laws, Della and Kajza, who share a passion for quality candy and a vision to revolutionise the pick and mix experience in the UK.

Della, raised in London, started spending more time in Sweden because of her husband. There, she discovered the beloved Swedish tradition of "Saturday candy" (Lördagsgodis), where children eagerly spend their allowances on fresh, delicious pick and mix candies every weekend.

Kajza, who grew up in Sweden, fondly recounted her childhood experiences, highlighting the abundance of vibrant, fruity, and high-quality sweets available in Swedish stores. Recognising the stark difference in quality between Swedish pick and mix and what was available in the UK, the candy lovers saw an opportunity.

Together, they decided to bring the Swedish pick and mix tradition to the UK, ensuring that British candy enthusiasts could enjoy the same fresh, delightful treats that Swedes have loved for generations.
